 We
believe the date of the frame to be 1810 t0 1820. After stripping
the frame was repaired and polished by Michael Hutson, a furniture
restorer based in Markyate. |
 The chair was made before springs were available
in upholstery. but springs were used when reupholstering this chair. |

 A feather cushion was later added to the
finished chair. |
